Award-Winning director Sam Walker creates cinematic films with scale, strong narratives and bold visuals. His experience as a D&AD, Cannes, One Show and BTAA winning creative and ECD at world class agencies like Mother, Fallon and Karmarama means he brings fresh ideas and deep understanding of storytelling and communication to all of his films. While at all three of these agencies he wrote and directed a series of notable spots over many years and continued to develop his style with Faster Horses, where he shot Uniqlo "This Way to Utopia" and a surreal art film to launch Somerset House Studios.

Sam is equally at home woking with actors as he is helming complex choreography, cars, stunts and large scale set pieces. On the spot he was even prepared to get inside a shark cage and film a great white shark himself!

His editing and music style is bold and varied too, from the fast cutting hypnotic style of Virgin Active, to the deliberately slow and captivating style of Uniqlo, to the restrained single take shots of his children's BBC spots. He started directing in 2008 with a comedy short film "Hunting the Beast," starring the voice of Come Dine With Me, Dave Lamb.

Since then he has shot a number of other long form pieces including a heartbreaking video for Ruarri Joseph featuring real-life child Thai boxers.
