If we merely visualise some daydreams in a series of crazy images then we have failed. If we make an advert that too rationally explains the wonder of flying we have failed. To do justice to this idea we need to make an advert that acts as a journey for the viewer to go on - that lifts them from the mundane up into that emotional state of wonder.
◀︎BRTHR collaborate with Helmut Lang & Jeremy Deller. Famous for wearing pink, Isabella Burley invited Jeremy Deller to create an official hoodie in 3 Pantone pinks. A selection of Deller's five favourite archival artworks are hidden inside the hoodie creating a graphic gallery on the body themes of public versus private are explored - The graphics can be flashed to friends, viewed inside the hood, or simply left as a personal secret. The hoodie can even be worn inside out to fully expose the works, and the neck tag can be personalised.
◀︎NEW music video: The Horrors ‘Ghost’ Directed by in/out' Flesh anxiety: the body at the infrared end of the spectrum.' Directing team in/out use thermal imaging to explore the human body for The Horrors, and the result is suitably ghostly for their song Ghost. It's also endlessly fascinating. "Thermal imagery helped us represent the body at a crossroads between the familiar and the unknown, where humans appear almost, but not exactly, like their everyday perception."
